I will dominate 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
